By renting a vehicle from Axel’s Wheels, you (the "Renter") agree to the following terms and conditions. These rules are designed to ensure the safety of our drivers and the maintenance of our premium fleet.

01 Rental Agreement

The rental period begins at the time of handover and ends at the agreed-upon return time. The Renter must be the primary driver and is responsible for the vehicle until it is officially checked back in by an Axel’s Wheels representative.

02 Fuel Policy (Same-to-Same)

  • Level: All vehicles are provided with a specific fuel level (usually a full tank).

  • Return: The Renter must return the vehicle with the same fuel level.

  • Refueling Fee: If the car is returned with less fuel, a refueling service fee plus the cost of fuel will be charged.

03 Late Fees & Extensions

  • Grace Period: We offer a 30-minute grace period for returns.

  • Hourly Rate: Returns beyond the grace period will be charged at ₱150 per hour.

  • Full Day Charge: Returns more than 4 hours late without prior notice will be charged as a full additional day.

  • Extensions: If you wish to extend your rental, please notify us at least 6 hours before your scheduled return. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability.

04 Damage & Responsibility

  • Inspection: A joint inspection is conducted at handover. Any existing scratches or dents will be documented.

  • Renter Liability: The Renter is responsible for any new damage (internal or external) incurred during the rental period.

  • Tires & Glass: Damage to tires, rims, or glass is the full responsibility of the Renter unless caused by a documented collision with another vehicle.

  • Smoking Fee: We maintain a strict No-Smoking policy. A professional detailing fee of ₱3,000 will be charged if the vehicle is returned with a smoke odor.

05 Cancellations & Refunds

  • Reservation Downpayment: A 50% downpayment is required to secure your booking. This ensures the vehicle is reserved exclusively for you on your chosen dates.

  • Cancellations (1 Week or More): If you cancel at least one week (7 days) before your scheduled appointment, we will refund 50% of your downpayment. The remaining 50% is retained as a reservation fee for holding the vehicle.

  • Late Cancellations (Less than 1 Week): If you cancel less than one week before your appointment, the downpayment is strictly non-refundable, as we have already committed that date and turned away other potential bookings for you.

  • No-Show: Failure to show up within 2 hours of the scheduled handover without prior notice will result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the full downpayment.

06 Prohibited Use

The vehicle must NOT be used for:

  • Sub-renting to other individuals.

  • Off-road driving or racing.

  • Transporting illegal goods or hazardous materials.

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

  • Use as a public utility vehicle (PUV) or for ride-hailing services.
